Two Step Sparring - Ibo Matsogi

A = Attacker

D = Defender

 

One:

A - Walking stance middle obverse punch, walking stance front snap kick.

D - Walking stance middle inner forearm block, walking stance X-fist checking block, then counter attack with  walking stance middle obverse punch.

Two:

A - Walking stance high obverse punch, side piercing kick with back foot landing in L-stance forearm guarding block.

D - Walking stance high outer forearm block, L-stance inward pushing block, counter attack slipping front foot into walking stance reverse elbow strike.

Three:

A - Walking stance front snap kick, sitting stance middle obverse punch.

D - Walking stance low outer forearm block, pivot and dodge into sitting stance or rear foot stance,  lift foot up for Side Rising Kick and to counter attack,  stepping into sitting stance knife-hand strike.

Four:

A - Side piercing kick (back foot) stepping into sitting stance knife hand strike (with left hand).

B - Step back with left foot into L-Stance knife hand guarding block, stepping back with single middle knife hand block and counter with reverse middle punch slipping the left foot into walking stance.

 

Five:

A - Walking stance high obverse punch, then walking stance front snap kick.

D - Walking stance double inner forearm block step back into rear foot stance palm upward block and then counter slipping the front foot into walking stance reverse upset punch.

 

Six:

A - High turning kick, then twin vertical punch both in walking stance.

D - Walking stance high double inner forearm block, then twin knife hand wedging block, then to counter grab the head of the attacker and knee to floating rib with back leg, finish in walking ready stance.
